With the Rio Olympics now well and truly underway, several Irish athletes will take part in the second day of the 31st Olympiad. Irish eyes will be fixed squarely upon the first appearance of Ireland's boxers, with David Oliver Joyce and Stephen Donnelly in action in the 60kg and 69kg weight categories.
Elsewhere you will be able to catch Irish athletes in action in gymnastics, swimming and men's hockey, starting at 1.45pm (Irish time).
Coverage will begin on RTE Two at 1.30pm.

Irish In Action - Day Two (All times listed are Irish times)
Gymnastics: Ellis O'Reilly - 1.45pm
Ireland's first ever women's gymnast to compete at the Olympics, O'Reilly has already made history by even being at Rio but will look to make an even bigger mark when she competes at the beam, vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and the individual all-around.
Rowing: Women's Lightweight Double Sculls - 3pm
Claire Lambe and Sinead Jennings have a great shot in this first heat where they'll face off against teams from Cuba, South Africa, Tunisia and hosts Brazil. Jennings in particular has displayed a world class level of skill, though she has suffered a few niggling injuries lately. Anything can happen.
Rowing: Men's Lightweight Double Sculls - 3.20pm
The O'Donovan brothers from Cork are among Ireland's chief medal contenders this Olympic Games, despite the fact that we have never got so much as a bronze in rowing in our history. The European champions are behind France in the betting odds but will have faith that they can advance past the heat which also features Germany, Turkey, Denmark and Italy.
Boxing: Men's Welter 69kg - 4.15pm
Stephen Donnelly should get past Algeria's Zohir Kedache in this round of 32 bout but the fact that he is on a collision course with the world champion, Rabii from Morrocco, means that there is an uphill struggle ahead. Donnelly must lay down a marker and seize momentum in this first contest.
Boxing: Men's Light 60kg - 9.30pm
David Oliver Joyce has found himself in a tricky position in the bracket. He fights Allisop from the Seychelles in his opener today, which should be an easy enough win, but business will pick up in his bouts later in the tournament. Joyce, much like Stephen Donnelly, must establish his rhythm early if he is to be in the hunt for a medal.
Swimming: Women's 100m Breaststroke - 6:08pm
Fiona Doyle competes in the fifth heat of the women's 100m breaststroke and a place in the semi final would be a massive achievement for the swimmer who was so close to a European medal earlier this year.
Swimming: Men's 100m Breaststroke - 6.22pm
Shane Ryan is in action in the third heat today and, much like Fiona Doyle before him, earning a place in the next round would be considered a success for the US import.
Hockey: Ireland vs Netherlands - 10pm
After coming up short against India, Ireland will look to grab an unlikely victory against the Netherlands knowing that a victory today, along with a win against Canada who are the only team in the group ranked lower than them, should be enough to qualify for the knockout stages. Ireland have arguably the world's best goalkeeper in David Harte, so they will know that anything is possible.
