I don't understand how this is possible. I can't get time to watch any of the TV shows I want to but the US President seems to be at nothing else but becoming engrossed in endless amounts of television.
He loves Homeland, he tweeted about the new season of House of Cards and now it's emerged that Obama has actually approached the chief executive of HBO to see if he could get advanced copies of True Detective and Game of Thrones.
As reported on thewrap.com, Obama was chatting the CEO Richard Plepler at the state dinner for French President Francois Hollande, and wanted to acquire the advance episodes in time for President's Day Weekend.
And here I am waiting with a bated breath every single week for the next True Detective instalment. Where's my advance copy HBO? Where's my advance copy!?
