Wonder Cat Will Throw First Pitch At Minor League Baseball Game

By now you have seen the video of Tara the wonder cat who saved a little boy from a mauling by his neighbours dog. The video that has seen Tara usurp Roy Keane's Triggs as the worlds favourite animal, has resulted in a call-up to the big leagues.

The Bakersfield Blaze; a Californian minor-league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds have asked both Tara and her owner to throw out the first pitch in a game scheduled for May 20th.

Balls sources can confirm that Tara has indeed accepted the offer and has agreed terms with the the Blaze.
