Bo-Taoshi translates in Japanese to 'pole pull down'. According to Wikipedia, it is played by teams of 75 people, mostly military cadets. I won't bother explaining much more. As far as sports spectacles go, I can't think of many madder. I could see it being a Gaelic game.
