Heavy favourite Vautour was a shock faller at Aintree today but still rose from the canvas to produce one of his finest ever performances.
Finishing the race ten lengths ahead of the official winner without a jockey on his back. In addition to being a blow to the jockeying profession, it showed what a true champion he is.
Inspirational.

While marvelling at the horse's resilience, social media is awash with speculation that one unfortunate individual had £80,000 on the horse. The majority of twitter users, sensitive as ever, have spent the past hour congratulating themselves on not being that man.
