It's safe to say the rugby world was stunned earlier today by the sudden retirement of Racing 92's star fly-half Johan Goosen.

Goosen it was revealed, retired to take up a role as a Commercial Director in his native South Africa, a decision that dumbfounded Racing coach Ronan O'Gara.
Speaking pitchside to BT Sport before his side's Champions Cup tie with Glasgow, O'Gara incredibly revealed he found out about Goosen's decision on Twitter:
