Manchester United fans will be pleased to see that Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira has made a promising start at Valencia during his season-long loan with the Spanish outfit.
Valencia are arguably Spain's biggest club behind Barcelona and Real Madrid, but recently they have battled relegation. That has all changed however as they currently sit second in the table, four points behind leaders Barcelona thanks to their 6-3 victory over Real Betis last night.
Valencia appeared to be cruising to victory without breaking sweat as they led 4-0 with 15 minutes remaining, but Betis rallied scoring three goals in five minutes to make it a nervy finish.
Italian striker Simone Zaza restored Valencia’s two goal cushion before Pereira scored the final goal of the match with a stunning curled effort from outside the box.
Pereira has been in fine form this season for Valencia, with one assist and one goal in six matches for the La Liga side.
