The highly anticipated Dublin Senior Football Championship Final kicked off on Monday night with 10,000 spectators packed into Parnell Park to see Ballymun take on St.Vincents.
We so much talent on display it was never going to take long for the first incident to pop up and sure enough, 30 seconds had yet been played when James McCarthy - man of the match for Dublin in the All Ireland final - made his presence felt.
The midfielder delivered an absolutely booming shoulder to Nathan Mullins - son of St.Vincents manager Brian Mullins - who took a while to return to his feet after the collision.

Hard. Hard but fair, it looked worrying in real time, but remarkably, Mullins shook it off and was back on the pitch within minutes, a decision that may draw criticism in the coming days.
Check out the frame-by-frame as Mullins collects a pass, looks upfield, only to spot a 46a bus coming around the corner.
To Mullins' credit, he managed to get a shoulder of his own back in the second half, and how he managed to hold onto the ball there is a mystery.
It's the type of hit that belongs in a YouTube compilation of massive GAA hits, and set the tone for the final in the opening minutes.
