The Buffalo Bills saw off the Indianapolis Colts 13-7 today, although it was the conditions that had everybody talking.
New Era Field in Buffalo, New York was covered in deep snow after a recent snow blizzard. Despite this, the game went ahead and made for an incredible spectacle:

Deep in the fourth quarter, Indianapolis kicker Adam Vinatieri recruited the help of his team-mates, the referee and the elements to land a spectacular kick and force the game to over-time:

The 43-yard kick needed a little encouragement from the strong winds but got there in the end.
However, the Bills responded with LeSean McCoy operating as a human snowplough and running in the game-winning touchdown:

This time of year scenes like this are regular in the NFL. In the lead up to this game, the Bills had asked fans for assistance in shovelling snow. While visually appealing for the TV viewer, fans at the game must have found it damn near impossible to see, particularly given the Colts white uniform.
The result means the Bills are now 7-6 and looking good in the AFC East.
