Odell Beckham had a day to remember yesterday, becoming a pro-bowler as a rookie and continuing his habit of making what should be impossible plays, notching up an outrageous 70-yard reception in what is usually a game that is taken lightly.
As if he weren't good enough already, he has revealed he hasn't even been playing at full health this year. Having missed the first four games of the season for issues with his hamstring, Beckham told reporters assembled at the pro-bowl that the injuries still haven't healed.
They healed up enough to where I could play with them, but they were never truly good and I’m still just working on them and trying to get ready. I should be good by training camp, The plan is to play at full strength next season, and I definitely hope to do it. I’m just looking forward to getting healthy.
With the wide-out likely to win rookie of the year as well as being possibly the stand-out player in his position for the regular season just gone, it is scary to think how good he could be when fully fit. Speaking of how good he is, he also treated the crowd to some pre-match highlight reel action with some sublime one handed catches.
As well as nailing a 46 yard field goal.
