There was drama aplenty from the start of the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. Beginning from the second row, Felipe Massa would have been confident of adding to his 30 points in the Drivers Championship this season, but it wasn't to be as McLaren's Kevin Magnussen clipped the Williams driver at the very first bend sending Massa's car onto it's roof from what initially appeared to be minimal contact.
Stewards looked into the incident but have decided that there was nothing untoward and that the collision took place within normal race conditions. The onboard view from both Massa and Magnussen shows just how easily the Williams car was sent tumbling.
Massa is no stranger to the dangers of Formula 1 after he suffered a serious head injury at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2009 but thankfully, the Brazilian walked away from today's incident with no visible ill effect.
