St. Kilda's Dylan Roberton took a massive hit from Port Adelaide's Tom Jonas just a few minutes before half-time in his side's 97-92 loss on Saturday.
He still took part in a prearranged half-time interview though where didn't appear to be quite cognisant of what was going on.
Roberton was assessed in the dressing room by St. Kilda medical staff where it was decided he was unfit to continue the game.
Tom Jonas received a three match ban for the hit.
From HeraldSun.com.au:
Jonas' charge was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), high impact (three points) and high contact (two points). The seven activation points resulted in a four-game ban, with an early plea reducing the sanction by 25 per cent to a three-game suspension.
In making its findings, the match review panel stated that Jonas' eyes were on the player and not the ball.
