Skateboarding is a sport that we at balls have had to observe from afar. An old Jackass video, or an perhaps a Tony Hawk game was really the only exposure we ever got to a sport that is traditionally pursued far away from our rain soaked streets.
It seems that some have managed to find just enough tarmac to carve out a career in skateboarding: Keith Walsh was born in the crumbling O'Devaney Gardens flats in Dublin, and has managed to gain national and international prominence over the last few years, tearing up competitions all over Europe, Florida and beyond.
Here he is tearing through the streets of Dublin.
