UFC Stockholm has picked up where UFC Boston left off with a dominant victory for an Irish fighter. Neil Seery opened the card this evening with a highly entertaining unanimous points decision win over Chris Beal in the flyweight division.
Seery went toe to toe with Beal in the first with both fighters finding their target on occasion. It was the second round where Seery really got going. It looked for all the world that a text guillotine choke would end the fight for Seery, however, Beal did very well to eventually escape when it looked more than likely that he would tap out.
Although that didn't end the fight. It was nonetheless the decisive moment. Once the third round began it was obvious that Beal had very little left after that and although he took Seery to the end, there was only going to be one winner.
