Frank Lampard's 88 minute equaliser for Man City against Chelsea obviously meant an awful lot more than the mere act of scoring an important goal.
Much was said when Lampard signed on for a short stint at City. The obvious question was, being so synonymous with Chelsea, would he be ready and able to hurt them if it came down to it? Well it did come down to it and it went exactly to script. Lampard fired home late on to rescue a point for City but his refusal to celebrate suggested he wasn't entirely comfortable with it.
His post match interview also points to a man who's heart and soul aren't exactly with his new club. You have to give him credit for doing a thoroughly professional job for them though.
Similarly, Jose Mourinho was at his pragmatic best, at least until it came down to talking about how incredible the Chelsea fans are.
