RTÉ's Michael Corcoran interviewed Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt during the week ahead of this year's November Internationals series.
Schmidt talked about the danger posed by South Africa and Handre Pollard and Willie le Roux in particular. He also spoke about how South Africa had changed since the 2007 World Cup.
They're more creative, they're playing more expansively and they're playing with a greater variety. I think their unpredictability with the power and pace that they have is a really potent combination.
The New Zealander also said that he believes despite Ireland being the Six Nations champions, south hemisphere teams currently see England as being the northern hemisphere team to beat at the moment.
On replacing Brian O'Driscoll, he said that it would a collective responsibility to replace what BOD brought to the team in terms of defensive organisation.
