Esteban Granero isn't a player we hear too much about these days, the former Real Madrid and QPR man is somewhat tucked away from the spotlight, plying his trade at David Moyes' Real Sociedad. Playing in midfield, and having never scored for La Real before, the Spaniard had drifted out of sight, out of mind.
That was until last night, Moyes' team, playing in a second leg Copa Del Rey game at home to Villarreal, started with the ball on the half way line and worked it forward. Just five passes later it was in the back of the yellow submarine's net, Granero finishing the move off with a Golazo.
The game finished 2-2 and unfortunately for Sociedad and Moyes, that wasn't enough to bring them through to the next round of the Copa Del Rey, with Villarreal having won the first leg 1-0.
