Check out this great promo for UFC 178 featuring Conor McGregor talking candidly about the top-ranked featherweights in the UFC. As you can probably guess, the Notorious is confident that he none of them could stand in his way of that coveted UFC belt.
Unsurprisingly, McGregor was harshly critical of his opponent for UFC 178, Dustin Poirier's fighting style.
Honestly, I think he's basic. He has that basic Thai stance, nothing unpredictable, same shots every night. I just think he's fed up right now.
There's also the fact that there's a young, handsome Irishman coming up that's looking to take his head clean off.
Hands down the best part of the clip is when McGregor goes to town on his bitter rival, Cub Swanson. The Dubliner tears the Hans Moleman lookalike to shreds over his "advanced years". (He's 30-years-old).
Cub Swanson is an ageing fighter on his way out. I believe he's on the tail end of his career. I feel he's about 95-years-old.
(There's) one or two more fights left in him. I would like to be one of those fights.
The Notorious is a lot more respectful towards his divisional rivals in this video than he has been in the past.
