The Richie Murphy reign begins as the Irelands U20s head coach takes charge of Ulster for their trip to Durban to face the Sharks. Here's all you need to know about Ulster v Sharks.
Murphy who is replacing Dan McFarland comes in off the back of another undefeated U20 Six Nations campaign only missing out on the title by one point. However, this will be a different test altogether as he leads Ulster Rugby until at least the end of the season. The Ulster squad flew out to Durban on Tuesday and will travel on to Cape Town after the Sharks game to face the Stormers.
Ulster are still in the hunt for the URC sitting 5th in the table sandwiched between Edinburgh and Munster who are all on 34 points. On the other hand, it has been a hugely disappointing season for the Sharks as they are rock bottom of the URC having only registered one victory all season on a meagre 10 points. An away victory is definitely achievable as Richie Murphy looks to revive Ulster's season.
