Lance Armstrong was grilled for over a half hour on Newstalk's Off The Ball this evening. The disgraced former cyclist tetchily answered questions put to him by presenter Ger Gilroy, with the theme of his answers basically boiling down to; people need to get over it.
We're not too sure Lance changed too many hearts and minds with an interview in which he called Gilroy 'a complete rookie' and asked if he was crazy. There was also one exquisite moment of silence as Armstrong ducked a question and he certainly left in a hurry.
@offtheball @lancearmstrong nogoodbye or thank you at the end of the call says all you need to know about him. Where are your manners Lance?

That interview was hugely entertaining. @lancearmstrong still an awful nob. Good job @gergilroy.

After that "interview" it's pretty safe to assume @lancearmstrong must hate the Irish. #Newstalk
