Conor McGregor was the second highest earner at UFC 178 after flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.
McGregor earned a staggering $150,000 in total for his dominating performance against top featherweight prospect Dustin Poirier. This included a $75,000 bonus for winning the bout and another $50,000 for earning one of the Performance of the Night accolades for stopping the Diamond in just 104 seconds with a vicious barrage of heavy strikes.
Longstanding flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson earned $183,000 for his submission of Chris Cariaso in the main event while Donald Cerrone, Eddie Alvarez and Dominick Cruz all made over $100k for their night’s work.
