UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey brought a smile to the face of many wrestling fans when she made an appearance at Wrestlemania 31 and gave Triple H a forceful judo-throw, but rumours are circulating that the WWE are already planning her appearance at next year's event.
Rousey engaged in a war of words with Stephanie McMahon in the ring at Wrestlemania 31, before removing her from the ring by putting her in an arm hold, but according to Sportskeeda (via Wrestling Observer), they would like to see a bit more physicality between the two by pitting them against each other in a match.
According to the Wrestling Observer and as we noted earlier, if WWE manage to get Ronda Rousey on board for Wrestlemania 32, the idea is not for a tag match with The Rock and Rousey vs Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, but a singles match between the two women.
While nobody has put pen to paper, all parties involved are said to be open to doing something next year. That could also mean The Rock vs Triple H in their own singles match.
Dana White would obviously be a major stumbling block for the WWE, who would no doubt attract sizeable chunk of Rousey's ever-growing fan base to any potential match, as he would take a lot of convincing to risk one of the biggest stars in his organisation exerting so much physical effort outside of the octagon, but if they could pull it off it would be a fantastic spectacle.
Fingers crossed.
In the meantime Ronda will defend her belt against Bethe Correia at 190 in Brazil in August, and Stephanie McMahon will continue to wear pant-suits and cut terrible promos in the squared circle.
