Twitter has unveiled its pretty slick 2012-in-review microsite, which provides an opportunity to look back on the mad year that was via the lens of 140 characters. The split in Olympics hashtags - #london2012 or #olympics - clearly split the vote on what was by far the biggest sporting event of the year. But what a finish by Liverpool edging out United. It's not quite second in the league, but it's something. I assume 'Being Liverpool' played some part in this. This also sums up our suspicion that Liverpool supporters are the most vocal in the social media sphere.
Also what the hell are Leeds doing there?
