So in South Africa, droning noise is condoned, but guerilla marketing is a crime. Sounds fine to us, but you have to marvel at FIFA's stupidity in pressing charges against the two people behind Monday's Bavaria Babes stunt during the Holland-Denmark match.
Did Blatter et al miss Social Media 101? Bavaria is the top trending topic on Twitter as I write this and the plight of the Bavaria Babes is certain to ensure hundreds of lame blog posts (like this one) and double-entrendre laden news reports. (Irish) Drinkers with grudge against FIFA now even have a solidarity beverage.
One unintended consequence: the arrests might unite the oft-divided Dutch team. I could see them dedicatingthe rest of the tournament to their incarcerated marketing Oranjewomen.

Strangely, I can't see any overt Bavaria advertising on the dresses. I assume someone in their marketing department is getting a raise
