In the past two weeks questions have been raised over the future of Ireland’s biggest promotion Cage Contender when it emerged that many fighters and service providers had not been paid for their contributions to the Cage Contender XVI card.
Hosts Mark O’Toole and Fergus Ryan talk to lightweight fighter Chris “The Menace” Stringer who was the first person to highlight the issue.
They also talk to former Cage Contender commentator and noted MMA coach Barry Oglesby on that issue and the general health of Irish MMA.
Fergus also surveys the state of Irish MMA throughout the country and speaks to Stewart Dollery of the Cork-based @MMABoxingClinic on their success.
