Paul Pollock of Belfast did the heroic thing and lived the marathoner's dream by breaking out early and leading a big chunk of the first quarter of today's Dublin marathon. The first video shows him coming out of the Phoenix Park and the second shows him a half mile up the road outside of Chapelizod. Fair play to Paul. He wasn't just sticking with the Kenyans. He had 25 metres on them. He finished as the first Irishman home.
