An Argentine semi-professional football team called Papa Francisco, were recently founded in honour of Pope Francis and with the goal of promoting non-violence, Nicknamed The Saints of the South, their motto is 'No hooligans, no violence and no insults.'

They played their first ever game at the weekend and got two players sent off.

Oh the irony!

Two players from either team were shown reds in a 2-2 draw. The club are 12 miles south of Buenos Aires, the city where Pope Francis served as archbishop before his election.

Luckily for them it's holy week so there will be plenty of opportunity to catch a quick confession and start over next weekend.
