The UFC came to Dublin and a jammed O2 on Saturday night.
Irish fighters had a clean sweep with Paddy Holohan, Cathal Pendred, Norman Parke, Neil Seery and Conor McGregor all winning. Adopted Irishman Gunnar Nelson also won on the night.
Here's now Twitter reacted.

There's nothing like a big fight feel. Doesn't matter what sport.

I’ve seen it all now, televised games of Twister on 3e. #UFCDublin — Kevin Oliver Murray (@Kevnmur) July 19, 2014
Brandao is a dangerous operator in the first round, but McGregor stifled the early threat, then struck. That was dominance personified.

Probably couldn’t script that any better if you’re the UFC. McGregor’s star grows even bigger. He’ll be a draw everywhere. Not just Ireland.

An emotional Neil Seery dedicates his win over Phil Harris to his nephew Jamie, who was buried last Monday. Very moving.

There were also some dissenting voices, especially regarding 3e's coverage.
@TheNotoriousMMA Sorry but that's disgusting. #notsport
— Tony O'Donoghue (@Corktod) July 19, 2014
Anybody who believes Diego Brandao was brought to Dublin to actually compete hasn't been paying attention to the UFC business model.
— Dave Hannigan (@daveyhannigan) July 19, 2014
I will crack up if 3e keep taking breaks. Especially between rounds!! #UFCDublin #McGregor
