Stipe Miocic retained his UFC heavyweight title with a first round TKO of Junior Dos Santos at UFC 211 in Dallas on Saturday night.
The American was making his second defence of the title which he won against Fabricio Werdum a year ago at UFC 198.
On Saturday night, Werdum's fellow Brazilian Dos Santos endured for less than two-and-a-half minutes against Miocic.
Despite sustaining a nasty injury to his shin early in the fight, Miocic was able to finish Dos Santos when he landed a booming right hand after 2:22 of the first round.
Referee Herb Dean stepped in moments later to call a halt.
Here's the replay of that decisive right hand.
