Scott Evans became the first Irish male to win a badminton match in the Olympics. Underdog beforehand, Evans beat his highly rated German opponent Marc Zwiebler by 2 games to 1.
It was a massive win for Evans who celebrated by whipping off his shirt and letting a holler in the direction of his family in the crowd.

Interestingly, the Dubliner is currently being helped by celebrity hypnotist Keith Barry to prevent himself 'drawing a blank' in the heat of the action.
