Sam Warburton knows a lot of good can come out of Lions tours.
The Welsh star captained the side to a drawn Test series with New Zealand earlier this month, and is now back in Cardiff recuperating, before the start of pre-season with the Cardiff Blues.
In New Zealand, Warburton would have seen first-hand the charitable and social work done by the Lions each week. While the team would be playing twice-a-week, those not selected in match-day squads would travel the country meeting school children and taking part in charitable activities.
Warburton has brought that mentality back to Wales. Earlier this week, he announced that the contents of his Lions gear-bag would be donated to a charity shop in the Welsh capital. Tenovus is one of the country's leading cancer charities.

It's not the first time Warburton has been this generous. A patron of Tenovus, he has previously donated his gear-bags from the 2015 World Cup and last year's Six Nations, along with some jerseys from the Blues.
Unsurprisingly, Sam Warburton's gear sold out in no time, with the charity shop revealing they had raised more than £2,000.
Some fans posted their lucky buys on Twitter after they were fortunate enough to get their hands on some of Warburton's gear.
