There have been some strange press conferences in sport throughout the years. Journalists attending usually go for decent soundbites and quotes from the players or coaches that are presented in the hope of finding an interesting story.
Sometimes, a phone goes off that could annoy some coaches (Roy Keane), or a charismatic figure like Ian Holloway or Nick Cummins entertain the present media with some quotable titbits.
But it's rare that the funniest thing that comes from a press conference comes from a journalists question:
For those unaware, this was at the unveiling of Rex Ryan as the Buffalo Bills new head coach. Ryan is a renowned defensive specialist, and will be inheriting one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Bills have been held back due to their underperforming offense, while the defense has stifled the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning this season.
Ryan and the Bills defense looks a match made in heaven, but it still doesn't forgive that hapless journalist with his ill-phrased question.
