An amazing photo posted on Twitter shows an artificial turf sports field at a Pittsburgh high school having been ripped up by a torrential rainstorm in which more than two inches of rain fell in a single hour. According to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, the rain pushed under the surface, tearing it up and causing it to crinkle.
So much for being an all-weather pitch.
