The PRO14 fixtures have been released for the new season, ahead of the opening games in just under a months time.
Leinster will make history by becoming the first European team to play in South Africa in the PRO14. Leo Cullen's side will play the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth on September 16th. A week later, they play the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.
Three of Ireland's sides will beat home on the opening weekend. Only Leinster will have to travel. They face Bernard Jackman's Dragons on September 2nd.
The first Irish derby takes place on October 6th, as Connacht travel north to Belfast to face Ulster. On the following day, Leinster welcome Munster to the Aviva Stadium.
As always, the festive period will be dominated by inter-provincial matches. Munster play Leinster in Thomond Park on St. Stephen's Day. On New Year's Day, Ulster and Leinster are at home to Munster and Connacht respectively.
Munster will be the last Irish team to venture south to South Africa this season. They play the Southern Kings and Cheetahs in successive weeks in April.
