Scott Dixon and Will Power were neck and neck during the GoPro Sonoma Grand Prix when they both entered the pits for a change of tyres. Dixon finished his pit-stop before Power but as he pulling away he managed to clip on the opposing pit crew who was carrying a used tyre from Power's car.

Although the commentators placed no blame on Dixon, the race stewards did, slapping him with a drive-through penalty. After the race Dixon described the pit crew member's nonchalant walk around the back of the car as 'a dick move.'
