Texan-born, 13-year-old Tyler Bain was left paralysed after being involved in a car accident when he was a toddler. However, 10 years on, he has overcome the odds to walk across his school's football pitch to deliver an inspiring speech to his teammates before their last home game of the season.

A massive American Football fan, Tyler approached Pine Tree Junior High football coach Paul Ellsworth about becoming the team's manager. He has become an invaluable member of the team, and it's easy to see how his determination passes onto others in the team.

Not content with this pretty amazing feat, Tyler is now moving onto his next challenge. He will soon undergo tendon reducing surgery to help his legs carry his weight before he embarks on his next goal of walking unaided.

He told KETK News 'I have my ups and downs, I admit it, but I don’t quit, and the next day I get right back up and say, '‘Hey, I can do this.''

Pretty inspirational stuff.
