We're not sure who is more popular in Panama this morning between Roman Torres and Juan Carlos Varela.
An 88th minute goal for Seattle Sounders striker Torres against Costa Rica sent Panama to the World Cup for the first time in their history.
On the back of Torres' goal, Panama's President Varela gave the whole country the day off work and school to celebrate the win.

Panama have been among the minnows of central American football in recent years. Bordered with Costa Rica and Colombia, the country has seen it's two nearest neighbours reach the World Cup on numerous occasions.
Next summer, all three teams will be in Russia competing against World's elite.
After Torres' historic goal in Panama City, the country took to the streets to celebrate the achievement. President Varela confirmed a few hours later that all schools would be closed and public and private workers would all be given the day off to celebrate the achievement.

After announcing his intentions on Twitter, Varela signed a decree in his Panama national team tracksuit proclaiming October 11th as a national holiday.
