Okay, so maybe it's not as crazy as Calcio Fiorentino (an Italian sport which can fairly be regarded as a cross between rugby and bare knuckle boxing - see here), but the Red Bull crashed ice qualifiers is not for those who shirk physical challenges.
The sport is a four man full-contact, high-speed, downhill ice skating race along a 440 metre track, with steep turns and vertical drops in which the first to the bottom wins.
