The NFL has agreed a settle of $765 million with 4,500 former players who believed the league had hidden from them the long-term dangers of head injuries which they incurred throughout their careers and also profited at the cost of their health.

To say that this number is a drop in the ocean for the league is an understatement. The NFL has an estimated annual revenue of $10 billion.
$675 million of the settlement will be distributed to the players on a case by case basis. $75 million will go towards medical tests and $10 million to research.
