Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton is a very famous man.
Despite being the face of an NFL franchise, he is also plastered around the United States in advertisements for the likes of Under Armour and Gatorade, so you would think gaining access to his verified twitter account would be a difficult task, right?
Wrong. It turns out that his twitter account was protected by a password that we imagine is also the password to many kids in the Carolina area. This is web security 101, Cam!
Lol that was ridiculous. I guess "Camnewton1" was a bad "password" choice?! Thanks again @twitter #backfromthehack

Thankfully for QB1, the damage wasn't too severe, as some kid (clearly the only type of person who would actually think 'camnewton1' would be a password possibility) just took jibes at Richard Sherman and complained about the Panthers.
S/O to whoever hacked Cam Newton's Twitter lol pic.twitter.com/yKRJVkCTYH

There's a lesson to be learned here, it just that most of us learned it by age 12.
