LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life from association with the NBA over racist remarks which he made in a recording of a conversation with his former girlfriend V.Stiviano.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver confirmed that the man speaking on the tape was Donald Sterling.
Silver also said that he will ask the association's board of governors to vote on forcing the 80-year-old to sell the team.
