What makes her message so powerful is that it doesn't go down the rout of attacking men for the sake of it. Instead, she argues some valid points and gives eye-opening revelations about her experiences as a female in the sausage-fest that is sports journalism.
Nolan makes a public plea to female sports fans not to take a back seat in the discussion and explains why boycotting the NFL would not improve the current situation. She criticises the sports media for failing to respect women and suggests taking a stand to rectify this.
The NFL will never respect women and their opinions as long as the media it answers to doesn't.
