We're not going to claim to be regular listeners of MMA Roasted but the podcast registered on our radar today after they laid into Conor McGregor and made one strong allegation against the UFC star.
McGregor was named International Fighter of the year at last weeks MMA Awards but the podcast alleges that McGregor - who was in Las Vegas at the time - refused to attend unless he received a hefty appearance fee.
The "comedian" on the show Greg Wilson proceeded to chide McGregor with a fake Irish accent and suggested that had the prize been Lucky charms, crowns or if it was made from potato he might have showed up.
In addition to that, The Fighter and the Kid podcast has an (unsubstantiated) claim that Irish media outlets paid McGregor for interviews and that McGregor tried to receive payment for interviews in the US. A rumoured demand that was slapped down by the likes of ESPN.
The backlash against The Notorious appears to have begun over the Atlantic.
MMA Digest produced this shortened video of the podcasts in their news round-up below.
