When legendary GAA commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh retired from broadcasting back in 2010 he received a gift from the Irish Greyhound Board of a dog named Razldazl Rioga. Ó Muircheartaigh has been a long term fan of greyhound racing and his other sporting passion has proved to be an extremely lucrative one for him with Razldazl Rioga winning a total of €83,501 in prize money so far.
€20K of those winnings came just this weekend when he won the Bar One Sprint Cup in Dundalk on Sunday evening.

Previous big wins for Razldazl Rioga which is trained by Dolores Ruth have included the 2011 Irish Laurels in Cork which gained the former RTÉ broadcaster €30K and the Betdaq Race of Champions in Tralee where he took home €15K in prize money.
That is one hell of a retirement gift.
