Maybe it's his Entourage. Maybe it was throwing pigskin on the street. Maybe it's that the wind didn't blow and Augusta isn't really Saint Andrews. Whatever. Rory McIlroy played a consistently brilliant second round finding greens in regulation and giving himself birdie chances galore to keep himself ahead of the field. He'll be pissed that he left about four shots behind him on the back nine to finish on 10 under after a 69.
The chasing pack are massing too. Woods, Phil, Jason Day (who had an incredible 64 playing with McIlroy), Fowler, Westwood etc are on the board. It's a Saturday for sitting in your kaks on the couch with a semi-circle of beers and coldcuts. Bring it.
McIlroy doesn't shoot 80, leads after day 2
