King James reign with the Miami Heat looks like it has finally come to an end. LeBron's agent, Richie Paul informed the NBA franchise that his player would terminate his contract early and become free to sign for another team from July 1.
This does not necessarily mean that the two time NBA championship winner will leave the Heat as neither the player or the team have made a public announcement.
The four-time NBA MVP had until June 30 to exercise his contractual right to an early termination. If he remained at Miami, he would have made an estimated $20 million next season.
Two days ago, LeBron's wife Savannah Brinson dropped a massive hint on her instagram account that the King may be returning to Cleveland. He spent the first seven years of his professional career at the Cavaliers before making the switch to the South East.
James signed for the Heat in 2010 and has gone to the NBA Finals on every time of asking with Miami. He would have made an estimated $42.7 million if he saw out the last two years of his contract.
