By now you will probably have heard of the massive tornado that devastaed Oklahoma. Many people lost their lives or had their homes destroyed but athletes in the area are trying to help. NBA star Kevin Durant, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, is donating $1m to the Red Cross in order to help the victims. Many people took to Twitter to express their admiration for Durant.
Regional Red Cross: “Mr. Durant’s gift and support to Okla. comes at a time of great need and we’re forever thankful for his generosity.”

The gesture didn't go unnoticed by the community either. This photo of Kevin Durant's jersey hanging in the rubble is amazing.
