Katie Taylor made her American debut on Saturday night, but she has already set her sights on bigger paydays.
Fresh after her win over Jasmine Clarkson, the London 2012 gold medalist revealed she wants to fight in Madison Square Garden on St. Patrick's weekend.
John Duddy and Michael Conlan have fought in the famed New York venue in recent years, and Taylor wants to join them as soon as possible.
Speaking after the win in Brooklyn, Taylor said she wanted to move to the more famous venue in New York.
I'd definitely love that. Obviously MSG is an iconic venue. I'd love to box in the US on Paddy's Day.
The win sets the Bray fighter up for a World title fight, and after her introduction to American fans, she wants her chance at a title, sooner rather than later.
I'm definitely ready for a World title fight. I'm ready and willing to step into the ring with anyone really. I hope the World title is on the way next.
While the three-round stoppage will do much to add to the confidence, Taylor admitted she did not take much damage in the ring and will be able to return to action soon.
Could we see an Irish professional debut for Taylor on the cards before the end of 2017?
