When you are at the vanguard of a developing sport, odds are you will take part in the odd record-breaking moment.
For Limerick's Joy Neville, it is a near constant occupational hazard.
A rugby union referee that has taken the role of women within the sport - be it the men's or women's game - onto ever higher dimensions.
In Saturday's women's Six Nations tie between France and England in Grenoble, Neville was again present as history was made; although perhaps this time she didn't have a whole lot to do with it.
In what may well be the championship's title decider, the top two sides met with nothing to separate them bar an 18-point differential in points converted.
Enough to captivate what was an incredibly excited home crowd, the 17,440 who turned out participated in setting a new record for the women's game. It sparked rapturous applause from the crowd.
Over 300 more than the number that was recorded at the World Cup final in Ireland last August, it is being regarded as a testament to the hard work that continues to go into promoting the women's game.
Record crowd of 17,440 at tonight’s #WomensSixNations

Having trailed for much of the second-half, France managed to claw back a late try and assert a strong hold over the championship, running out 18-17 winners in the end.
Unfortunate to lose in the end, England will now look to next week's game against Ireland where the visitors can potentially move from 3rd place into 2nd with a win in England.
