John Kavanagh issued a tweet around the time Conor McGregor unleashed his long-awaited facebook statement late this afternoon.
McGregor's line appears to be that he sent the retirement tweet partially as a means of demonstrating his drawing power. Letting the UFC know just how much of a media presence he is. Does he really need to engage in another exhaustive promotional tour?
Kavanagh's tweet hadeven more of a rallying cry feel. He said the McGregor corner were ready to fight. It's up to the public whether they want this endless parade of press conferences or do they want the fight themselves. He appeared to feed the perception that this could be a long battle with the UFC itself.
Ur call now. You are the customers. What do you want? Press conferences or fights? Make some noise because we're ready to do the damn thing!
